The Hotel, a Novel of Simple, Small Pleasures
The stevens family take an annual holiday to a boarding house in bognor, where they've been going for the past 20 years. They are a family of kind of habit and ritual, and they kind of enjoy the fact that they are going back to the same place year in, year out. And i it's a really lovely novel of simple, small pleasures of life's kind of quiet hopes and ambitions and secret fears and concerns. The hotel is quite a significant in the novel, and it sent us around a quite an ordinary family, the Stevens family.
