The alliance for progress failed to substantively assist latin american countries like brazil in, in developing along sepelino lines. It also failed to meet the stated kind of real politique, geo political ambitions of the alliance for progress - which was precisely to support a democratic alternative to revolutionary cuba. S i think some of the what fotal would say against the alliance for Progress is that a lot of it is actually deepening the anti-American sentiment and resentment.
