I think they should be called the delayed gratification movement. So this is the capital life to your 40 and then our 50 or whatever. I would always say accumulate much more to be able to give you that extra bit, particularly if it's a long timeframe. Planning for someone with a 25 year retirement is very different from playing someone with a 45 year retirement. If you've got a conservative portfolio, you're in a world of pain in terms of liquidity as well. Why wouldn't you want a lot of money to live on 4%? I mean, really? why?
