The Dig is a podcast from Jacobid Magazine. This episode features the history of modern Iran with Esconder City, Gebor, Adjeri, and Goulnar-Nikpore. We begin in 1997 when reformist cleric Muhammad Khatami's surprise landslide election to the presidency. The result was the 2005 election of Mahmoud Akmondinajad, a right-wing hardliner who had not played a high-profile role in either the Islamic Revolution or early Islamic Republic.
