Rings of Power and House of the Dragon

Rings of power was a really big bet by Amazon Studios they say it was their most successful show of all time in terms of the total viewers who watched it. They did want this to be their Game of Thrones which is maybe why they sort of hubristically put it up against House of Dragon the Game of Thrones prequel and so there was a two-week difference in the premieres I think that was kind of their way of determining okay well if we can get in you know slightly. It's also far too early to say it's a major flop for them we really have to see that second season and third season performance, Peter Handy says.
