The two guys actually used to be friends themselves, but their relationship soured when Thomas saw how Bupinders was treating Nadia. We've talked about how leaving an abuser is one of the most dangerous times for a domestic violence victim or survivor. But we also heard from advocates who say that contacting authorities on a victim's behalf can actually do more good than harm.
