In gan's case, she is great at using an army to best advantage. And we see her do this twice. In both times, it's kind of astounding how she manages to pull off a victory. For the time period, there would often be, you know, perhaps queens behind the lines may be marching with the king if they were being moved from one position to another or during retreat. But this was not common. The fact that ike can secure the loyalty of battle hardened men who are essentially mas ist at their corps tells you something about what a force of nature she must have been like.
