The Conscience of Modernity

Deep within his conscience man discovers a law which he has not laid upon himself, but this is Gaudium Expeds. As long as I speak, I'm being overcome by modernity. His conscience is men's most secret core and his sanctuary. There he is alone with God, whose voice echoes in his depths. Who is there in that sacred sanctuary of conscience? Vatican II taught that it was the eye. The eye who can control all of his or her ideas, that eye, and therefore can control the conscience. It's funny because I followed my conscience. And whenever I follow my conscience I happen to do exactly what I wanted to do in the first place.
