The main goal of the fruits, for the plants, is the te the animal that eats them, will disperse them when it spreads its peces. Some plants produce teeny tiny fruits the ants carry away, and the ants actually sort of care for the seeds that then germinate outside their nests. And so there are some australian plants that they have three layers of attraction. So the first layer attract birdsow the birds eat the fruit and deposit it in their feces. That the fruit then has a second layer that attracts antsa the ants carry the fruit to their nest. It then dries out,. once it dries out, it explodes and spreads its seeds the third layer
