Crystal's disappearance was linked to a string of brutal murders and disappearances in a town that with otherwise free of violent crime. Her dad went hunting on his property the first day that the hunting season opened and he wasn't actually far from where crystal's car had been found. The theory is that her dad was getting close to answers and someone had to take him out because shortly before his death he was telling people that he was concerned that he was being followed.
