5G is being pushed out closer so that the lag is going away. For some applications which are lag critical this will be a neighbor for it to happen. But you can also see as opening up for new things. Today everything is on the device computing as well as power and storage. Part of that can move now into the distributed cloud because assuming that you have a low latency connection to it.
