Introduction
This week on the Myth and Legends Podcast, I'll be tying the bizarre and violent original stories of the little red riding hood, Snow White, and Bluebeard. This is a disclaimer about violence. Despite these being very widely known as children's stories, the originals can be fairly gruesome. The creature this week is from West Africa. And just wants to hang out with you. And maybe drain your blood with his feet. It was sort of a happy accident that it ended up being the week before election day here in the US. But these are stories that I get requests for all the time. They're fairy tales, so of course there aren't any relevant time periods. God or goddess
