The Machine Metaphor Opposition

When I say that there's a machine of reality to it, I don't necessarily mean that there's literal machines operating that. These experiences, these desiring machines operate as if they were machines. The polemic against metaphor is subordinate to the polemic with structure and the critique of the signifier. There is an opposition between machine and metaphor that should not be blindly accepted.
