She hopes that in 2022, as people start thinking about marking the 100 year anniversary of the discovery of his tomb, it gives us an opportunity to reflect on how he shaped our understanding of ancient Egypt. "I hope we can look towards a future that recognizes the contribution of Egyptians from all social levels," she says.
