The Battle of Badr

On the very same day as Badr, Heraclius had launched a fierce offensive against Khusro II. Two of his major flanks defected and one of his family members plotted to have overthrown him. The Muslims did not even find out on the day of Badr because it's going to take two weeks for the news to reach them.
