Every single hospital bed, on average, that is filled with a patient is going to have 29 pounds of biohazardous waste per day per bed. That amounts to about five million tons of medi wast. And don't even get me started on crime sene clean ups. There's cleaning companies for not just your spring clean but your homicidal cleans. A lot of the times it's incinerated, just straight up. They send in needle cyringes, patho pathagans, turn it into ash. It's intense though. And that's a lot of pollution. Oh, yo. Can you imagine?
