The Importance of Taqwa
The whole reason that you fast Ramadan is to become more obedient to Allah. To follow the sunnah of the messenger sola'Allah Hala, Hala al-Hala - he was saying that that is what we are here for. And so if a person can bring these things, fear of Allah and acting upon Allah's revelation and being satisfied with little then they have brought a taqwa according to Palakt ibn Habib.
