The Relationship Between the Heart and the Brain
The ancient character in Asian languages for the heart could be translated as either heart or mind, and that's what most ancient societies believe. Harvey who showed the heart was a pump that circulated blood around the body really was nothing more than that. The brain is where our soul and our conscious and our memory and our understanding and our emotions all work. But it turns out that the heart is transmitting as much signals to the brain as the brain is to the heart, and this is constantly occurring.
