The Neuro Neurology of Group Moral Celebrations
A lot of it is the idea of morality being a system that binds people together towards a collective cause. That puts them in a tribe of sorts and by having that unified vision they fight against the other tribes that are opposing them. I don't really know that neuroscience has a lot of answers to that problem although i can only say well this particular thing that relates to my domain i think we're probably going about the wrong way.
