The Intentionality of Consciousness
In the western philosophy, consciousness arises from whatis called intentionality. But in all our lives, there are also situations where we can very comfortably, calmlya sort of, ou know, be with no purpose. At those moments, i am not nexcessively bringing any purpose from my mind into the world. And yet, i'm not asleep nor passive. I mean, there is alertness, there is awakeness, there is, there is all of that, and yet no directing myself. This is what i have called the other of consciousness, e being abiding mode. In fact, i believe probable that both both modes can operate at the same time, simultaneously. So
