The Importance of Having a Narrow Education in Counseling a Client
The first time i did narrow education and the impact of that with a client ever. It was at man college age who came into councilling distraught over a recent break up. And in talking with him and getting some of his history, he had a very chronically toxic childhood. But when he ould go back out into the rural world and get stressed or get into an emotionally heated situation, all cognitive therby learning kind of went out the window. I mean, we had a long road of therapy ahead that included additional information in narrow science and and certainly some traditional therapy approaches but that was the moment to me, that it really all started.
