What Is Carrying Capacity?

Carrying capacity has been a central preoccupation of environmentalists who are concerned about population size and growth, population control. The way that there these advocates are also actively seeking out scientific theories, scientific data that can support this connection being drawn between reproduction and environment. And i think this was really well illustrated by your discussion of carrying capacity. How kind of how that concept arose, and why it it continued to have this reach an advocacy even though there's been critiques of it within scientific communities.
