The Dark Side of the F-117

After the first test flight of the F-117 in 1981, Area 51 became a hub of experimental stealth technology. Two civilian sheet metal workers began working at the famed military outpost. Because stealth technology was such a new and profound secret, the base went to great lengths to preserve that secret. This meant burning it all: metals, solvents, paints, and other toxic wastes were burned in pits on the base premises.
