When you make a decision to start walking in healthier patterns, one of the things I guarantee that will happen and take place is there will be a disruption. The first thing that rises up is guilt as a last ditch effort to pull you back into the toxicity. When we sit in the feel bad, we don't improve relationships. We're trying to learn to love, but we've made it more out of I feel bad. Toxic guilt doesn't make better relationships because it's actually focused on me feeling worse.
