i suppose i switched my view of irish politics from the loyalist side tof the republic inside. But as i say, not much outlet for that in a place like cold, rain. So getting to university at the age of 18 and going to aberdeen in scotland was, was likea os, likea an awakening for me really. Suddenly, from being in this very conservative pere with the small and a big sea, a community, a iwiswas the world's a world of philosophy and opinion whic was unleashed upon me.
