The Danger of Retirement

I think you point out that having that constant challenge throughout the course of one's life is probably a better direction to pursue. Who wants to be 95 years old sitting in a nursing home and having nothing left? You want more than that. I even share an example of my high school guidance counselor, who everyone loved and he loved working there. We had mandatory retirement here at Canada, age 65, and he had a heart attack The week after he retired and he died. That's the danger of it, with the social fulfillment,.The stimulation of learning something newer, the challenge, and the story of doing something bigger than yourself. Those 4Ss create value in work.
