The Legend of Fuxi
As Sovereign, Fuxi would teach the people of the Yellow River to hunt and fish. After a reign of more than a century, he departed the world after 179 years on it. With his departure, the slack is picked up by the second sovereign, named Shennol,. He invented tools that would be necessary to till and farm the fertile soil along the Yellow River. The Chinese have archaeologically been discovered to have begun brewing alcohol as well. So all at once we've got fire, drugs, and beer handed out by a demigod with horns on his head and see through flesh. It doesn't get much more metal than that.
