How we feed our babies connects so much to how we think about womanhood. We have this certainly in the West in history and that I primarily look at in the book. The idea that woman is closer to nature versus the kind of cultural intellect of the male, that they're somehow a slightly lower state or unruly. That's an idea that persists and carries on in various different ways.
