How Do I Know if I Can Trust You?
Religion is a way of signalling that i'm really a part of your group and you can trust me. Alcohol serves a similar function by making it difficult to lie when inebriated. We think we know how to detect lying, but we don't. It makes us feel more generous social and more inclined to co operate. So there you kno religion, we have. Tremendously socially inefficient. But i guess you're saying there are efficiencies in both. Ye ye.
