I felt like California might be good for me. Like, you know, like open space and... Escape from Hong Kong, too. And I grew up in Vancouver, so it kind of has some Vancouver vibes. So why did I stay? Half because of the people. And then half because LA has changed a lot. Ever since marijuana being legalized came a wave of culture and lifestyle stuff. Even though it wasn't like yours, there's more things to go out to instead of some Hollywood shits. You have to have a variety. But what were the restaurants that made it like, oh shit, I like being here now, now the food scene is ill?"
