A rallied interest group is enough to put an end to a judicial career, you said. Let's go back a little bit further and tell us about your family and your childhood and your time at school. My dad was an authopedic surgeon, really a vocation. He would see his patients twice every day, including on the week ends. We all grew up with a strong sense of that contribution. And my mother was a professor in social policy and social work and then the dean of arts at sydney une. She worked hard and contributed, and continues to do so, in multiple community ways.
