The Importance of Hobbies in a Career Path

I feel like doing things outside of medicine, doing my hobbies, that's my one outlet to do something that's not predestined for the hospital type of thing. An MD is a non transferable, you don't have any skills other than treating patients. I think we're privileged to have that sense because a lot of people could be in a situation where their hobby is the way into a career path that they want. And that's a much more tenuous path and nebulous.
