The ability to shake it out after a physical trauma dramatically improves your later experience of how you remember and process that trauma. Can you actually make your body shake after a trauma yourself or does it have to be your body doing it involuntary? I think it's about reaching a level of being relaxed or of kind of like release and then your body will do it. It's almost like the cold plunge, the parasympathetic like shape.
