Harvard's Argument for Class Preferences
Harvard University disagrees with your take, right? Yes. What do they say? So Harvard says that you cannot produce sufficient racial diversity using class. They also said that if you implemented a class based affirmative action system, you would see SATs drop from the 99th percentile to the 98th percentile and that's unacceptable. But we ran the numbers in the Harvard case and they can produce a lot of racial diversity by adopting a number of important programs that don't rely on a percentage plan approach.
