Is It Disingenuous to Use the Word Translator?

There's no real evidence that the plates were used a materially in the translation. The urman thumbum, meaning the crystals and the breastplate, weren't used either. So i don't think you could call it a dishonest. It certainly has misled us into thinking that. You know, i used to speculate tid joseph smith learned reformed egyptian peering at those plates and coming a with the words. Maybe we do need to have another word.
