Lectures were transmitted by telephone from what was then called the Kansas State Agricultural College. John added fundamentals preaching and regular programs offering medical advice. His image was that of a humble home spun country doctor who quote only wanted to help my friends out in radio land. But his exposure and methods created enemies.
