Do You Know How You Vote?
I discuss politics all the time, but I never talk about how I vote. The BBC is preoccupy with impartiality because it wants to be front and centre of what it gives to the British public in terms of its information and news. Do you think looking back that you ever betrayed your personal feelings and opinions in the course of interviews with those in power? No. Don't think so. My wife doesn't and she's the closest person to me, there is. Why won't you tell me? Because I work for the BBC. It's a private matter. But on the broader picture, the idea of the BBC's impartiality is important to defend.
