In Pax, the Christians are a very, very, I mean, they're an almost invisible presence. And that's because I'm looking at it through the eyes of the Roman elites, essentially. The Christians at this point in time are like mammals in a Mesozoic world. My focus is on the dinosaurs, not on the tiny shrew like mammals that are scurrying beneath the feet of the Tyrannosaurs of the Triceratops. So clearly that has huge relevance to us in terms of historical sources.
