The Supreme Court's False Equivalency
Justice Alito said if you took money or things of value from someone with a material interest in the case, is to recuse yourself. That last statement there, Justice Alito, is just false. Just like the proper thing in many of these instances would be to disclose what they're doing because that's how transparency laws work. The Chief Justice has to step up and so far he has not even as more and more comes out. He claims though he wants to have high standards of conduct. We are continuing to look at things we can do to give practical effect to that commitment.
