What Do You Think the Left Can Do?
The constitutional order that we have is like this sort of self regulating machine. That doesn't mean the situation is hopeless, or thereis nothing that people could do to try to move the country to a place where some more fundamental changes and a greater degree of democracy in american politics may become possible. But i think it's very difficult to find a way out of this sort of impass am.
