The Beard of the King of Egypt
The first king that we can identify as ruling egyptan armor, we've got images of him wearing this false beard. And also, the female pharaoh, hacepsa, also has the beard. So it's clearly symbolic. It's not intended to look like a real you're not intended to think this is a real beard in any way. But i think it's just a representation of kingship. Gods have beards too, some gods, not all gods, again, to represent who they are. Is astatus thing i would say, whether actually had beards in real life, we don't know.
