Kelly Covid is a high school math teacher in Adelaide, South Australia. She and her husband Jez had just moved home from Sydney with their daughter Sophia when they found out about Jordan's illness. The couple have now been told that Jordan has an undiagnosed form of bowel cancer known as acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), which affects only one in every 100,000 Australians. They are currently undergoing treatment at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for more than two years.
