Algaritms Amplify Bias

Algaritms have the advantage of being noiseless, but that algaritms amplify bias. Let's take a very simple example. A races judge will send more black people to jail than white people all things being equal. If you create an algaritm that learns from how this person has made decisions,. The algorithm is going to be more systematic. And so while the average bias of the algoritm will be the same, it will be more visible because the random ness will have disappeared. So i'm fairly confident that we will deal with that problem in a way responsible at least for applications that matter.
