If you're looking for a popular policy banning MPs from having a second job, I suspect that that one would go down very, very well. There's certainly been criticism in recent months of MPs earning huge amounts of money from private legal practise. But there are examples that Labour may also need to consider including those who are doctors or nurses who need to keep up some professional practise each year just to keep their qualification.
