Exxon's 0.02% of Outstanding Shares Doesn't Put the Fear of God Into Them?
Exxon was a giant in terms of the big asset managers had not been able to get them to pivot from a governance perspective. A lot of the big investors take a slower approach to work with management, not cause too much change and request changes. As we went through the campaign process, we saw some of these changes on changes in capital allocation decisions and intention to launch a green business. Some of these changes started even before the proxy vote where new directors were elected onto the board.
