The Primal Ego Shriek

When you were two, your mother knew there was no point in having kids over. You didn't have a sense of what was due to other people and their feelings. A little bit of play becomes possible only because the primitive ego shriek is being overcome by other conditioning. Why is it that children always get along better with their grandparents than they do with their parents?
