The wolf became a figurehead of maybe environmental restoration in certain ways. After the 70s, you had this amazing writing about wolves. There were so much kind of in the Western biblical tradition of the wolf as opposition. And I think understanding the way that hating the wolf or rather fighting the wolf is really tied into early stories of American history and founding.
