How to Write a Novel That Sells

A lot of it is about dealing with childhood sexual trauma like I couldn't write about it in a scary dark setting. When I put that same sort of struggle into a setting that felt more fun and comforting where I could include some humor and some narrative arcs, that's when the story clicked for me. Sometimes you just need time and perspective to be able to do this kind of writing.
