The NHS's Treatment of Glioblastoma

The treatment of glioblastoma is eight weeks of radiotherapy followed by as much chemotherapy as you're able to take. In Margaret's case, she wasn't able to take very much of it and her kidneys gave way. At that point there is nothing available on the NHS. There are hardly any drug trials. So at that point you are left on your own. Do you take your loved one home to die? Or do you attempt to see if there's any other sort of treatment anywhere in the world? And that requires money and for lots of people they're not going to have those funds. I think most people would expect that the NHS would do a better job.
