The Effect of Photo Editing on Body Image
Norway did pass a similar photo editing law in 2021. It's not clear to me at this time if Norway has experienced an uptick in mental health or what this has actually done. There are some experts who say that regulations like this do not address the root cause of why we all have body image issues in the first place. So maybe it wouldn't help if someone saw a photo that said edited on it, maybe it would draw more attentionlike they would spend more time trying to figure out where that manipulation occurs.
